Through simple assignments, you’ll get a feel for the medium step by step. 

You’ll start with a study in charcoal and paint a sphere in which different colors blend into one another. You will learn about contrasts and how to mix colors in a systematic way, so that you quickly discover how you can make an endless number of different colors with just a few basic colors. The Trial Course ends with an assignment in which you make your own painting. You’ll use a few important techniques and then let your imagination run wild. 

Our teachers guide you through the assignments. Instructions for the assignments can also be found on worksheets in the studio. You can also watch videos of the assignments in your personal account. That way, you can review what you’ve learned at home or prepare yourself for the next lesson. After four lessons, it is possible to transfer to a Basics Course. 

Experience in painting or previous study are not necessary because our courses are accessible for everyone. We have developed assignments for beginners as well as advanced students. Because we guide our students individually, you don’t have to wait for a particular start date and can begin whenever suits you.
